‘Ask The Question’ is looking for a new board member - could it be you?

Ask The Question is looking for a volunteer who will be helping to implement the communications and growth strategy of the CIC, and will be able to work collaboratively with the pre-existing, diverse board.

The role would be ideal for a younger person with a bit of extra time on their hands and who is looking for some experience in the third sector, or alternatively someone with experience of project management and strategy implementation, and is interested in working with a CIC. Whilst knowledge of the area of Calderdale is preferred, it isn’t essential.

Ask The Question was established in 2017 and has worked with around 80 students from around Calderdale, the majority of which have experienced local authority care. They aim to provide young people who have experienced abuse, trauma or neglect, with personalised, one-to-one tuition and mentorship to enable them to reach their potential.

Jo Austin, founder of Ask The Question said, “We are really excited to be bringing a new person onto our board, and want someone enthusiastic about making a real difference in the lives of young people, right here in Calderdale.”

To find out more information about the role, please email maz@mazifur.com . Applications close 31st May 2021.
